Distracted: Comparision
James 3:13–18 contrasts earthly wisdom, marked by envy and selfish ambition, with heavenly wisdom that produces peace and righteousness. Verse 16 shows that comparison and striving for human approval always lead to disorder and brokenness. But when we shift our focus to God’s approval, as Galatians 1:10 teaches, we find freedom from the trap of comparison. Living with God’s wisdom brings contentment, peace, and a harvest of righteousness in our lives and relationships.
