Questions from God: Why Call Me Lord and Not Obey
Jesus asks a deeply challenging question: “Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you?” It is possible to speak the language of faith, attend church, and affirm that Jesus is Lord while still resisting His authority in our everyday lives. Jesus teaches that a life that will withstand the storms is built by coming to Him, hearing His Word, obeying what He says, and digging deep before the flood comes. The storm doesn't create our foundation—it reveals it.
