Joshua: A Place to Run
God established cities of refuge so that people who were in danger could find protection and justice. This passage reminds us that we are all in need of refuge, and the church should be a place where hurting, broken, and struggling people can find grace and truth. But ultimately, the cities of refuge point us toward something greater: Jesus Christ, our perfect High Priest, whose death secured our eternal redemption. We don't just need a place to hide; we need a Savior who can rescue us.
